This unit involves the conduct of research appropriate to the subspecialisation of the Scholar. Scholars are required to submit a collection of peer reviewed journals articles (minimum of two) based on research undertaken during the candidate’s enrolment at Macquarie University. This collection will also include an introductory statement and a discussion document that situates the papers within the wider context of the research discipline. Through this unit, the Scholar will gain essential research skills to support an academic surgical career.
