Unit description
This is an intermediate Russian unit involving further study of grammar, developing the skills of written and oral expression and the ability to read simple literary works. Students are encouraged to use their language skills to communicate and interact in a variety of situations and contexts.

Unless a Special Consideration request has been submitted and approved, (a) a penalty for lateness will apply – two (2) marks out of 100 will be deducted per day for assignments submitted after the due date – and (b) no assignment will be accepted more than seven (7) days (incl. weekends) after the original submission deadline. No late submissions will be accepted for timed assessments – e.g. quizzes, online tests.

The purpose of the written test is to check students’ knowledge of all aspects of grammar and vocabulary that they learn throughout the semester.
There are no required textbooks for this course but ALL STUDY MATERIALS FOR LECTURES, TUTORIALS AND ASSIGNMENTS ARE AVAILABLE via your online unit. Recommended book: Levine J. S. Schaum's Outline of Russian Grammar, McGraw-Hill, 1999.

Students are required to have regular access to a computer and the internet. Mobile devices alone are not sufficient.
