Unit description Unit description

This PACE unit is for students enrolled in the Advanced Science (Biology) Program. It provides an opportunity to engage with the community, learn through participation, and develop professional skills. It involves undertaking a research internship, which could occur locally, regionally, or overseas. Learning is supported by a series of one hour weekly tutorials to discuss hot topics and recent research advances in biology with a variety of scientists from diverse backgrounds. Entrance is strictly limited so that a small group is maintained to ensure personal contact with research professionals. Students will be required to produce a report (in scientific format) on their findings at an annual conference.
