Students should complete all assignments and assessment tasks on time.
All written assignments are required to be submitted via Turnitin.
Late Penalties and Special Consideration
Unless a Special Consideration request has been submitted and approved:
(a) a penalty for lateness will apply: two (2) marks out of 100 will be deducted per day for assignments submitted after the due date;
(b) no assignment will be accepted more than seven (7) days (including weekends) after the original submission deadline.
No late submissions are possible for timed assessments, such as quizzes or online tests.
If you experienced a disruption to your studies because of an unavoidable incident (such as illness, including mental health problems; family issues; or the like), you may apply for Special Consideration (formerly Disruption to Studies). Note that you
must apply within 5 working days of the assessment due date. Information about how to apply for Special Consideration is available here: https://students.mq.edu.au/study/my-study-program/special-consideration
