Unit description
This unit will provide an opportunity for you to revise, reflect and be assessed on your consolidated learning across the Doctor of Medicine (Macquarie MD). It will involve tutorial sessions focused on developing advanced skills involved in responding to feedback, developing action plans and critically reflecting on performance. In this unit, you will reflect on and continue to learn how to evaluate feedback, create action plans to address feedback and reflect critically on their professional development, in reference to graduate capability expectation statements. You will be required to assemble the evidence you need for the summative portfolio assessment to demonstrate your performance and capability across the entire course, and at a level expected for graduation. |

The integrative written examination will cover all disciplines in Stage 2, excepting Mental Health and Urgent Care, and consist of multiple choice and extended matching type questions which will be mapped to capability aspects. Overall performance and capability aspects performance will be recorded in your Macquarie Assessment Portfolio.

Assessment of Portfolio and Interview. Your Macquarie MD Portfolio data will be reviewed and discussed in an interview. The portfolio examiner will provide an aggregate grade for all eight capability aspects and a level of supervision for all 9 G EPAs and overall portfolio grade, all of which will be recorded in your Portfolio.

This unit is the assessment unit at the culmination of your degree. This unit encourages you to reflect back on all learning of your degree, and demonstarte that you have the knowledge and skills required to be a competent medical graduate and intern. This unit is integrated with MEDI8402, where you will have the opportunity to review your portfolio and access the clinical space during electives and selectives to address any areas where you are not yet at intern level. Please ensure you review all coursework from the MD in preparation for the Integrated Exam, and all your portfolio assessment data prior to the Portfolio Examination.
