Unit description
This unit provides an opportunity to revise, consolidate, and reflect on your learning across the entire Doctor of Medicine (Macquarie MD), with a focus on preparing for professional practice. You will continue to develop skills in evaluating feedback, creating action plans in response to feedback, and critically reflecting on your professional development, with reference to the graduate capability expectation statements. You will also assemble the evidence required for the summative portfolio assessment, which demonstrates your performance and capability across the entire course, and at the level expected for graduation. |

The First Nations Health portfolio collates all faculty-directed and self-directed activities you have undertaken and reflected on throughout Stage 2 in relation to the health of First Nations Australians. Assessment of Portfolio and Interview. Your Macquarie MD Portfolio data will be reviewed and discussed in an interview. The portfolio examiner will provide an aggregate grade for all eight capability aspects and a level of supervision for all 9 G EPAs and overall portfolio grade, all of which will be recorded in your Macquarie Assessment Portfolio.

This unit is the assessment unit at the culmination of your degree. This unit encourages you to reflect back on all learning of your degree, and demonstarte that you have the knowledge and skills required to be a competent medical graduate and intern. This unit is integrated with MEDI8402, where you will have the opportunity to review your portfolio and access the clinical space during electives and selectives to address any areas where you are not yet at intern level. Please ensure you review all coursework from the MD in preparation for the Integrated Exam, and all your portfolio assessment data prior to the Portfolio Examination.
