Unit description
This unit consists of one or more supervised placements in one or more professional psychology workplaces. It gives students the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills developed in the Program to real-word, professional practice situations and thereby prepare for the 6th and final year of training and, in turn, registration and future, independent, professional practice.

Group Discussion Report 500 words
We require you to watch three DVDs on a clinical topic each semester (total of 6 DVDs across the year) and to then participate in a small group (maximum 5 students) where you discuss issues arising from the DVD. You will be given specific topics to comment upon and the group will be required to make a group submission to the Practica Coordinator and the Course Administrator.

This unit is comprised of placement and supervision
Placement: 20 days of placement
Supervision: 20 x 1 hour supervision sessions for each day of placement
Watching 3 x 1 hour clinical DVD's and participating in small group discussions
25 x 1 hour small group supervision and live skills assessments across the program
