Unit description Unit description
This unit involves either the collection of data for the research project, or analysis of an existing data set or a systematic review of a literature domain under direction of the supervisor as per the topic outlined in PSYN918 Clinical Neuropsychology Research Proposal. The research findings will be submitted in PSYN921 Dissertation 2.

This is a hurdle assessment task (see assessment policy for more information on hurdle assessment tasks)

Students submit a draft of the literature review intended to form the Introduction section of the dissertation to be submitted in PSYN921. The draft should be 2000-3000 words in length and formatted according to the guidelines in the APA Style Manual (6th edition). It is emailed to the Macquarie-based supervisor for appraisal, with the convener of PSYN920 copied in to flag successful meeting of the hurdle requirement.

Delivery and Resources

Students must be supervised by at least one person with expertise in the research topic. If that supervisor is not a Macquarie academic staff member, a Macquarie academic must be appointed in addition as the primary (administrative) supervisor.
